Sitting in front of me in service this morning was a married couple (I supposed). I was saddened by that sight as the woman was praising and worshiping God with hands lifted while the man refused to even stand up. So there he sat for the whole service. I wonder. I don't need to be a saint to understand basic courtesy and respect. Even if I were to go into a temple and the ritual requires everyone to stand rather than seated, I will not be so disrespectful to sit down. I was pretty disturbed by that. Maybe he wasn't feeling well. But this wasn't the first time that I see it happening in church in all my 8 years in church.
And it's usually the males that are displaying such nonchalant attitudes. I really pity the women. I think I'm really blessed to be a Christian before I found my life partner. Imagine myself going through what these women go through every single week. I think it's miserable and pitiful. I need to find a like-minded partner, someone who carries the City Harvest DNA just as I am. I AM A CITY HARVESTER!
